Kate Moss and Pete Doherty's John Lennon and Yoko Ono style video diary may be facing ridicule in a lot of circles, but that certainly didn't seem to bother internet users, for they made sure it became a hit.

More than 130,000 people have viewed the video, which shows a scantily clad Moss spewing abusive language while Doherty strums on his guitar, on video-sharing website YouTube.com, reports Contactmusic.

According to British paper The Sun, the couple have been using a camcorder to record hours of personal footage that they are reportedly planning on turning into an arty documentary.

"They think it's cool and romantic, like something John Lennon and Yoko Ono would have done," The paper quoted the source, as saying.

"But in reality it's all rather embarrassing and far more Jordan and Peter Andre," the source said.

As for why people thought that Moss and Doherty's video diary would not have any taker, well that's because while people are used to seeing the Babyshambles frontman make 'a fool' of himself on camera, they are not used to seeing Moss sit about half-naked spewing abusive language, as she does in the footage.

"We're used to seeing Pete making a fool of himself for the camera. He's always tried to give fans an insight into his personality by giving them access to things like this. That's his thing," the source said.

"But Kate used to be very precious about her image and not giving too much away. That's all gone out the window lately. Some of this stuff doesn't paint her in a great light.

"Pete used to keep his diaries in his written journals but videos is his new project. He sold his journals when he was short of a bob or two - and who's to say he won't do the same with all this footage? I wonder how romantic Kate will think all this is if they split," the source added.

Doherty sold his journals last year to publisher Orion for a six-figure sum. The book, which includes his diaries, poems, and artwork, is due out next month.
